Light, between intuition and experimentation
We took part in the “Teaching Artificial Lighting ‘17” conference last week, where Michela shared her experience as a lighting design professor with a keynote titled “Light, between intuition and experimentation”, summarizing her main insights on artificial lighting education with different students’ profiles and methods. The conference was organized by the Lighting Research Workshop at the ETSAB, Architecture School of Barcelona, within the framework of the International Photo Contest ICAL and in collaboration with the magazine ICANDELA. In the evening, we also took part in the Awards Ceremony of the ICAL (International Competition of Photography in Artificial Lighting), as members of the jury. This year 585 participants submitted their photographs, and 15 awards were given to students and professionals in 4 different categories.
